Vehicle- and Marine Crime
Started in 1993, it’s objectives are to ensure accurate recording of stolen vehicle details and the exchange of data between insurers and police. We subsequently became a key player in the information exchange between private and public bodies as well as providing support on an operational level. We also participated in the National Information Centre for Vehicle Crime (LIV) in partnership with the Dutch Registration Authorities (RDW) and the police. Lees verder

Car Salvage

Car Salvage
Launched in 2001, this is a combined initiative of the Dutch insurers and the car- salvage industry. The objective is to make the selling of wrecked vehicles both transparent and professional as well as prevent crime and fraud. We developed certification for the electronic selling-systems used by the Dutch insurers, professional car buyers and salvage companies. Since 2005 all Dutch insurers only use certified systems and sell only to certified buyers. We keep comprehensive protocols to audit the agreed rules. Lees verder

Certification of Vehicle Security

Certification of Vehicle Security
Founded in the early nineties by the Dutch Insurance Association in order to maintain the quality control of antitheft systems for passenger cars. Subsequently, their activities have been expanded to cover trucks and motorcycles and, in 2002, plant and earth moving machinery. In 2003 we were accredited by the Dutch Council for Accreditation (RvA) to Product Certification C361. Product testing is carried out by accredited test houses in Europe such as TNO in the Netherlands against various homologation directives issued by us. The installation quality of after market systems will be judged by inspectors through an independent inspection body. Lees verder
